ROADWORKS / INFORMATION

Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains how Roadworks handles information when you visit our website or contact us.

1. Who is responsible?

Roadworks ApS is the controller for the processing described here. Danish company registration number (CVR): 45897907. Address: Bakkegårdsvej 313A, 3050 Humlebæk, Denmark. Contact us at info@roadworks.dk or +45 31678666.

This policy covers this website and enquiries to Roadworks. Processing in RoadplanPro and individual customer projects is described in the agreements and privacy information for the relevant service.

2. When you contact us

We process the information you send: your name, company, country, email address, optional number of cases and message content. We use it to answer questions, arrange a demo and follow up on quotes or potential cooperation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and communicating with you, under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Where an enquiry concerns a contract with you personally, the basis may be steps before entering into or performing that contract, under Article 6(1)(b).

The contact form forwards your enquiry by email using Resend. The website application does not store enquiries in a customer database. Email providers and our inbox process the email. Required contact fields are necessary to process the form. Please do not send national identification numbers, health information or other sensitive information.

3. Website statistics with Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are visited, where traffic comes from and which devices and browsers are used. Statistics may also include approximate geographic areas and page engagement.

Plausible does not use cookies or browser local storage for analytics and does not recognise visitors across websites or days. IP addresses and browser information are briefly processed to generate a daily visitor identifier; Plausible does not store raw IP addresses or User-Agent strings. Plausible stores event and session records to calculate statistics, which are presented in aggregate in the dashboard. Visitor data is processed and stored in the EU.

We do not send names, email addresses or form contents to Plausible. The purpose is to improve the website’s content and functionality. To the extent that processing involves personal data, the basis is our legitimate interest in understanding website usage, under GDPR Article 6(1)(f).

4. Cookies and local preferences

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies on the website. Your choice of light or dark theme is stored locally in your browser. It is used only to remember the display you selected and is not sent to Plausible. You can remove it by clearing this website’s data in your browser.

5. Providers and international transfers

To deliver pages and maintain operation, technical information about your connection is also processed, including your IP address, browser and website requests. This information may be included in operational and security logs. The purpose is to provide the website, investigate errors and prevent abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in stable and secure operation, under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Technical logs are retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and security or to handle a specific incident.

Information may be processed by providers of hosting, technical operations and email, and by staff who need to answer your enquiry. Resend delivers contact form emails and Plausible provides visitor statistics. We do not sell your contact information.

Resend processes email data in the United States. Its data processing addendum includes EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a transfer mechanism and also describes the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can read the addendum using the link below and contact us for information about the relevant safeguards. Plausible visitor data is stored in the EU.

6. How long do we retain information?

We retain enquiries for as long as necessary to answer your message, follow up on the discussion and document any resulting cooperation. We consider whether discussions are ongoing, whether they lead to an agreement and whether information is needed to comply with legal requirements or handle specific legal claims. Information is deleted when these purposes no longer apply.

Statutory accounting records are retained under applicable bookkeeping rules.

7. Your rights

Under data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests and, where applicable, receive your information in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Email info@roadworks.dk to exercise your rights. We may request information necessary to verify your identity. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.

8. Changes

We update this policy when website functions or information processing change. The date above shows the latest update. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you based on your visits or enquiries.
